Description: This course is the 1st of a 3-segment course designed to provide a basic understanding of all the aspects of how a gravel base performs in a driveway application. This segment covers the importance of understanding the quality of the site subsoil, and making an informed assessment of the conditions, so that a proper base recommendation for a specific location and application can be made. This course will also cover compaction tools and their use. Upon completion of all 3 segments, a certificate is provided for the student.
